(Calexico man suffers fatal injuries)...It happened December 30th.

52 year old Mario Contreras Jr. was working at a Wind Farm near Desert Hot Springs in Riverside County. Officials say he was on a Wind Turbine when he fell 100 feet. Emergency services were called, but Contreras reportedly died before they arrived. Information on the incident was released by Cal/Osha, who is investigating the incident. The Riverside County Coroner's office confirmed the death. The investigation is on-going. No information as to what the man was doing on the wind turbine or how he fell.
