(30 year old arrested)...It happened earlier this week.

A man drove a Ford Explorer up to the Border Patrol Checkpoint on Highway 86. A Border Patrol K-9 detection team alerted to the vehicle and it was sent to the secondary inspection area. During the inspection agents found four packages inside two car battery boosters and two power converters inside the vehicle. The packages tested positive for methamphetamine. They weighed over 15 pounds and were valued at around #35,550. The driver, a 30 year old male US citizen, the vehicle and narcotics were turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
