(Lost men found)…Two men were reported lost in the desert.

El Centro Sector Border Patrol received the call Sunday afternoon. Imperial County Sheriff’s Office communications advised the Border Patrol of a distress call from two men who had made an illegal entry into the United States. The two had said they were lost and did not have any water. The Border Patrol was provided GPS coordinates and the search was initiated. Less than two hours later agents encountered the men on Highway 98, near Ocotillo. The agents determined they were the two who had made the distress call. Agents say the two appeared to be in good health and required no medical attention. The two were provided cold water before they were taken into custody. Both men were processed and deported back to Mexico.
