Sixteen businesses in the city of Imperial have received micro-grants.

The grants are from the City's Small Business Assistance Economic Stability Grant Program. The grant program was established by the Imperial City Council with over $78,000 allocated for businesses severely by COVID-19. A total of 19 businesses applied for the program. Due to limited funding , priority was given to businesses who demonstrated the most need and fell into the Stage 3 and 4 of the California Reopening Roadmap. Grants awarded were up to $5,000. The Imperial businesses awarded the grants are:

The program was funded through CARES Act money received by the City. The City of Imperial was allocated $245,800 by the state but so far has received just slightly less than $81,000 of the funding.
