They are for the 2026-2027 academic year. Earlier this month Loren Dhalliwal of Holtville and Kyle Self of Imperial were recognized for their academic performance and potential in the field of agriculture. The pair received financial backing as part of an institutional effort to support incoming talent from across the nation, according to ISU. Self, who is majoring in Agriculture Education, earned two distinct honors. The Joseph Fleming Memorial Freshman scholarship and the Ferguson College of Agriculture Enhancement Scholarship.
