(Rescues in the desert)…Border Patrol agents received a 911 call.

The caller said 3 men were lost in the desert near Yuma Wednesday. Yuma Air Branch agents were called in. Within an hour of receiving the call Pilots reported finding three individuals. They told agents they had crossed the border illegally with a group, who later left them behind. About 2 hours later, the pilots found two others lost in the desert. They were found about two miles northeast of where the three were located. All five were taken for a records check. Three of the individuals were processed for immigration violations due to their criminal history. The other two were taken to the San Luis Port of Entry and deported back to Mexico.
