(Meth Seized)….It happened in Calexico.

At around 11:20 Friday morning Border Patrol agents responded to a call from a local citizen. They reported a suspicious package east of Barbara Worth Road and north of East Correll Road. The agents found a black duffle bag wrapped in saran wrap inside a drain. Inside the duffle bag agents found wrapped packages containing a white crystal like substance. The bag and the packages were taken to the Calexico Border Patrol Station. The packages tested positive for methamphetamine, with a combined weight of 21.49 pounds and an estimated value of $48,352. The meth packages were turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
