El Centro Police responded to a report of a large gathering at a city park.

The initial report was that an estimated 30 people were at the park on Lotus and Wensley Avenue at about 6:45 p.m. Tuesday. When officers arrived they found a soccer match just breaking up. Officers advised the group about the prohibition of gatherings and also the need to wear facial coverings.
