The American Red Cross needs the public’s help to find local heroes in San Diego and Imperial Counties. If you know an ordinary person with extraordinary courage, the Red Cross is asking that you7 nominate them for the 18th Annual Real Heroes Awards. The nomination deadline has been extended until July 22nd. In light of the current pandemic, this year’s event will be held virtually. Ho0norees will be celebrated across eight categories, including animal welfare, community partner, fire and rescue, gift of life, good Samaritan, law enforcement, Military and youth good Samaritan.
