The Imperial County Public Health Department issued updated numbers for the COVID-19 pandemic in the Valley.

As of Monday morning there have been 136 deaths attributed to the virus. There are 7,977 total positive cases recorded and 959 currently active cases. The information is based on 38,521 individuals who have been tested. The numbers show an increase of 1 death , 150 positive cases on an additional 152 test results reported since Saturday.
