(Buttner trial could be extended)…Possibly until January 2021.

The attorney for Annette Buttner asked for the extension. Buttner is a County Board of Education member. She is facing two charges of perjury, on charge of filing false declaratio9n of candidacy and one count of grand theft. During a recent court appearance, Defense attorney Donald Levine requested the trial be set for January of the coming yar. He said the request was due to other upcoming trials and potential scheduling conflicts. The Superior Court Judge there was a possible opening in November. Both sides agreed to come back July 30th to discuss scheduling the trial for early November.
