Four vehicles were involved in a Saturday evening collision.

The accident occurred at about 7:45 p.m. Saturday on State Route 86 just north of the Imperial County line. The California Highway Patrol and CalFire responded to the scene. One of the vehicles ended up in a ditch, another in the center divider, and the other two along the highway. One person was flown to a Riverside County hospital for treatment. The accident remains under investigation.
