The Imperial County Data Center Advisory Committee met for the first time last week.

At the Thursday evening meeting, The 19 members representing the incorporated cities, other local governments and others, took the Oath of Office, received an overview of the committees bylaws and selected officers. Kristian Michelle Salgado will serve as Chair, Mike Goodsell, Vice-Chairman, and John Grass as Secretary. The Data Center Advisory Committee was established by the Imperial County Board of Supervisors to advise the board on potential land use  and zoning options related to data center development in the county. The committee's next meeting will be Monday, September 28.
