Cody's Closet will host the 6th annual Bed 4 Knowledge Event.

The event is designed to give children a new bed, comforter, sheet set, tennis shoes, socks, underwear, an outfit, a backpack with school supplies, a hygiene bag, a candy bag and a towel and washcloth. Cody's Closet provides these necessities to the children in the Imperial Valley that don't have a bed to sleep in. The kids are referred by social services, law enforcement, and school officials. The kids are chaperoned by law enforcement and school personnel and trusted adults. Parents are not allowed to attend the event so that children can pick items they would like without pressure from parents. Cody's Closet is asking for community support to make this event possible.
