The Imperial County Board of Supervisors made the proclamation at this week's meeting. Hispanic Heritage Month recognizes the rich history, culture, traditions, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans. According to the proclamation, the observance celebrates the legacy, resilience, and ongoing achievements of Hispanic individuals and families whose leadership, public service, community involvement, and cultural traditions continue to enrich and strengthen our region.
