MANA de Imperial Valley has announced the 2026 Las Primeras Honorees.
Maria Bastidas, Helen Palomino, and Cariline Treadway Jaime will be honored at the Mana Las Primeras Gala, Red Carpet, Red Lips & Resilience in September. The annual gala celebrates women whose lives exemplify leadership and service while raising scholarship funds that empower future generations of Latina leaders. Maria Bastidas has dedicated more than 25 years of her life to supporting women, children, and families throughout the Imperial Valley. Helen Palomino is Chief Executive Officer of the Cancer Resource Center of the Desert and Caroline Treadway jaime has transformed lives for more than four decades through education, mentorship and unwavering compassion.
Since its founding in 1979, MANA de Imperial Valley has awarded more than $330,000 in scholarships to local students, empowering future leaders through higher education.
