El Centro Police Departments K-9 Vader assisted in a drug bust.

On Sunday, Imperial Police stopped a vehicle and requested assistance of a narcotics detection K-9. Vader responded with his human and conducted a free-air sniff of the vehicle positively alerting to the presence of narcotics. A search led to the discovery of over 65 grams of methamphetamine and a small amount of fentanyl as well as $455 in U.S. currency. Imperial Police handled the rest of the bust.
