(The US General Services Administration awards over $2.6 million contract)...The contract was awarded to B3 Construction Incorporated.
It is for low-embodied cardon concrete paving projects at the Calexico West and East Ports of Entry. The funds are part of President Biden's Investing in America agenda. The San Diego based company will remove the old asphalt and concrete at the Ports and replace it with new low-embodied carbon concrete, eliminating and estimated 2.5 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions, the primary greenhouse gas driving through climate change.
