$1.4 million is going to Imperial County. The money will fund the conceptual planning, engineering design, environmental clearance and public outreach for the Niland Complete Streets plan. The plan will consider and identify opportunities for added sidewalks, bike lanes, crossings, median islands, signals, lighting, streetscape treatments, drainage, broadband needs, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure. The grants come through three programs funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
