The Imperial Valley Healthcare District ( IVHD ) has named an Interim Chief Executive Officer.

The IVHD Board of Directors unanimously voted to name Christopher Bjornberg as the Interim CEO. Bjornberg most recently served as CEO of the Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District. The new Interim CEO has 20-plus years of Experience in healthcare. He will be tasked with operational management of the new Valley-wide healthcare district. Along with overseeing the day-to-day operations of the IVHD, Bjornberg will work with community partners and stakeholders on implementing necessary programs and initiatives to ensure the District's success.
