The National Weather Service (NWS) says the Imperial Valley will experience a gradual cooling trend.

Look for a gradual decline in temperatures all week and the current dry conditions to continue. Temperatures will continue their downward trend but remain above normal through at least the middle of the week. Double digit high temperatures began Sunday and highs are expected to dip to the mid- to upper-80's by the end of the week. Overnight lows will drop to the low to mid 60's. Light west winds will prevail.
