The ceremony is to celebrate the start of construction on the Niland Sanitation District Wastewater Treatment Plant and Collection System Improvements Project. It has been in the planning stages for 6 years. It is a joint effort by the County of Imperial, USDA Rural Development, Housing and Community Development, and NAD Bank will provide the Niland community with a reliable and efficient wastewater system. The ceremony will be at 125 Alcott Road in Niland beginning at 9 am
