(County Sheriff's Office to conduct a DUI Checkpoint).....It won't be until next week.

The Sheriff's Office says the checkpoint will be set up on Friday October 18th. It will begin at 6 pm at a location to be determined. They say locations are determined based on data showing incidents of impaired driving related crashes. They say the primary purpose of DUI checkpoints are to promote public safety by taking suspected impaired drivers off the road. They remind drivers that impaired driving is not just drinking alcohol. The theme is Driving High is a DUI.
