A big rig apparently hit an overpass at State Route 111 and Interstate 8.

The accident was reported shortly after 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, The big rig was ferrying semi-truck cabs when it struck the concrete. The driver of the big rig did not stop. Another vehicle sustained extensive front end damage from debris left behind by the truck but there were no injuries. The overpass did not appear to have suffered structural damage. The accident remains under investigation.
