(Cal Fire updated the fire near Campo)...It was dubbed the Posta 3 Fire.

As of Tuesday night, the fire was fully contained. All evacuations were lifted. Officials attributed the cooler temperatures allowing fire crews to get the upper hand on the fire that started Monday afternoon. The difficulty fighting the fire was the hilly terrain. There were 190 firefighters with 20 engines, five water tenders and 3 bulldozers used to bring the fire under control. Brush burned on both sides of Interstate 8. Structures were threatened but not damaged Cal Fire said the fire was contained at 413 acres. The cause is being investigated.
