(Woman saved at the San Luis Port)...Customs and Border Protection officers saw the woman go into an opioid overdose.

The incident occurred last week. The woman was among 3 women in a vehicle crossing the border. The vehicle was sent to the secondary inspection area. As Officers prepared to search the vehicle, they asked the women to exit the vehicle. As a 23-year-old began exiting she passed out. CBP Officers said she was exhibiting signs of a possible opioid overdose. She was administered one dose of Narcan and almost immediately revived. She was monitored until EMS could arrive and transport her to a hospital
