(A Far South Border North; Artists and Cultural Practioners in Community event)....It is a job creation and infrastructure development opportunity to increase how artists and cultural practioners engage in public work and highlights the importance of intersectionality in tackling pressing regional challenges.
The program launched in 2023 and will conclude this weekend. The program funded 15 Imperial County Artists, and 4 Imperial County organizations for them to produce works to benefit the community. Those campaigns and works will be on display at the final show of the program for the Imperial County Public to see. It will be at the Casa De Manana Building at the IV Expo. On Friday September 20th, from 6 pm to 9 pm with the Gallery Opening Cocktail Party. Saturday it will be open from 2 pm to 8 pm and on Sunday from 12 pm to 4 pm.
