(Three Imperial County Natives graduate the CHP academy)...Two El Centro residents and one Brawley native are now CHP officers.

They graduated from the academy in Sacramento. El Centro Resident Diego Zavala Sanchez was assigned to the San Diego area. Anthony Orozco, a graduate of Holtville High School was assigned to the CHP's Oakland area office. Alexis Salazar, a Brawley native was working as a Correctional Officer for Riverside County when she went to the CHP academy. She was assigned to the Indio area.
