(Sheriff's Volunteer Group Annual Deep-pit BBQ Fundraiser)....The Sheriff's Volunteer Groups operate solely on public donations and fundraising events.

The Annual Deep-pit BBQ Fundraiser will be held on Sunday, September 29 at the IV Expo Casa De Manana Building. Due to COVID 19 restrictions, they will be having the BBQ, but it will be a drive-thru only. The Imperial County Sheriff's Volunteer groups include; The Sheriff's Deputy Reserves, The Mounted Posse, Aero Squadron, Explorer Post 500, De Anza Rescue Unit, and Sheriff's Activities League. Sheriff Fred Miramontes says the demand for their services increase each year, which is why it is important public participation in the annual fundraiser.
