The Imperial County Board of Supervisors met on Tuesday.

The Board proclaimed September as " Childhood Cancer Awareness Month". The proclamation said, " We stand with the brave children and families affected by childhood cancer, raising awareness and supporting the fight against the devastating disease."

The Board also recognized and passed a resolution honoring Cailee Roper for her outstanding role as the current " California Rodeo Queen". The Board said that her dedication, spirit, and leadership continue to inspire our community and the entire state of California.
