(Traffic stop leads to seizure)....Border Patrol agents recently stopped a vehicle near Temecula.

Agents used a K-9 team to perform a cursory inspection on the vehicle. Cellophane wrapped packages were found in the glove compartment. The vehicle was taken to a near by Border Patrol Station. A more thorough search was conducted. They found 31 bundles throughout the dash board of the vehicle. The bundles tested positive for cocaine. They weighed a total of 81 pounds with a street value of over $500,000. The driver and narcotics were turned over to the Riverside County Southwest Investigations Bureau. The vehicle was seized by the Border Patrol.
