(El Centro Police conduct a traffic stop on a bicyclist)...,..It happened Wednesday night.

The Bicyclist was pulled over for multiple vehicle code violations. During the stop, the bike rider consented to a search of his property. Officers found drug paraphernalia in his backpack, prompting an arrest. A further search resulted in the discovery of 16 baggies containing fentanyl and methamphetamine. The suspect was booked into county jail, charged with Possession of Narcotics, Possession for sales and Possession of Narcotic Paraphernalia.
