The Imperial Irrigation District Board of Directors will hold a Public Hearing regarding a Wireless Technology Attachment Rate.

According to the IID, the proposed wireless technology rate is aimed at cities that attach surveillance cameras and wireless devices to their street lighting poles. This charge will not affect residential electric rates according to the District. The Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 in the Condit Auditorium on Broadway in El Centro. The hearing is scheduled to start following the 1:00 p.m. regular Board meeting.
