The Imperial County Board of Supervisors met on Tuesday.

Among the actions taken by the Board was approving an agreement with Constant and Associates, Inc. to update and develop the counties Emergency Operations Plans and Annexes. The cost is nearly $380,000.

The Board also approved a $1,000 contribution rom the Community Benefit Account to support the Holtville Chamber of Commerce for costs associated with the Teachers Appreciation Luncheon. 

$2,001was approved to support the Imperial Valley 9-1-1 Memorial Event and Stairclimb on September 7, 2024. The funds will come from the Community Benefit Fund.

$9,980. was approved in support of the Imperial Volleyball Team. The funds requested by Supervisors Kelley and Plancarte will come from the Community Benefit Fund.

Sitting as the Air Pollution Control Board, they Supervisors approved a Funding Agreement with the El Centro Elementary School District for a paving project to reduce dust pollution and improve air quality.
