(DA hosted a workshop this week)...The two day Human Trafficking Workshop was held earlier this week.

It was held in the Imperial County District Attorneys office. Local leaders and community partners were on hand to address their concerns on Human Trafficking in Imperial County. The workshop was presented by the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force, which holds the distinction of being California's first Federally recognized and funded Human Trafficking Task Force. The workshop brought together Law Enforcement, victim services, educators and healthcare workers Topics included investigations, victim support, legal advocacy, prevention and raising public awareness.
