(Calexico City Council to consider a rate increase)...They want to increase the water and sewer rates.

They will be discussing the issue this evening. They will discuss adopting a plan to modify the water and sewer rates over the next five years. They will authorize the acting City Manager to begin the Proposition 218 notification process, and they will schedule a Public Hearing to consider adoption of the updated water and sewer rates. The public Hearing will be set for August 21. The last water and sewer rate increase in Calexico was in 2022.
