A two-car accident Friday night resulted in injuries to four people.

The accident occurred at 7:30 p.. at the intersection of Imperial Avenue and Broadway. According to El Centro police there were four people transported to El Centro Regional Medical Center with a variety of injuries. Southbound traffic on Imperial Avenue was shut down for a time as emergency crews worked at the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
