(State Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) elections)....The Imperial County Local Agency Formation Commission and the City of Imperial have announced two locals have been elected to the State LAFCO Board of Directors.

Commission Chair and Imperial City Council member Robert Amparano and Imperial LAFCO Executive Officer Tyler Salcido have been elected to the Board of Directors of the California Association of Local Agency Formation Commissions, representing the Southern California region. Amparano was elected to a one-year term, while Salcido was elected to a two-year term.
