(County Board to hold their regular weekly meeting)....The meeting will be held Tuesday.

It will be in the Board Chambers in the Administration Center on Main Street in El Centro. Public session begins with the Recognition of Norma Ruiz, an appraiser in the Assesor's Office, as the Employee of the Month for the month of August 2023. The Board will also recognize employees on their September milestone anniversaries. On the action agenda there is only one item. The Board will consider a letter to the California Energy Commission Chairman expressing interest and support of geothermal and lithium development projects in the Salton Sea Known Geothermal Resource Are. There will be two Public Hearings. The firstr is to consider public input regarding Tax and Equity Fiscal Responsibility Act and the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. The second Public Hearing is to consider public input regarding the vacation of Road Sections and Public Utility Easements within the Gateway of the Americas CSA. At 1:30 Tuesday afternoon there will be a workshop to update the Imperial County Strategic Plan. The workshop will be presented by Reliance Public Relations.
