Low-interest federal disaster loans are available to Imperial County businesses and residents affected by Tropical Storm Hilary.
Hilary roared through Southern California August 19 - 21 and the Small Business Administration declared a disaster in response to a request from the State of California. According to SBA, low-interest loans are available to businesses of all sizes, most private nonprofit organizations , homeowners and renters affected by the storm. Up to $2 million is available to qualifying businesses and nonprofit organizations. Disaster loans up to $500,000 are available to homeowners to repair or replace damaged or destroyed real estate. Up to $100,000 is available to eligible homeowners and renters to repair or replace damaged or destroyed personal property including personal vehicles.
