(Imperial County District Attorney hires a new Deputy District Attorney)...Kia Harris was sworn in recently by District Attorney George Marquez.

Harris brings a decade of experience as a criminal prosecutor, specializing in Domestic Abuse. She will use her experience to assist victims of domestic abuse and assist local law enforcement agencies as they investigate domestic violence calls. She previously worked as a prosecutor in San Diego, assigned to their High Risk Team. Before that Harris worked in the San Francisco District Attorney's Office.
