Updated numbers are provided by the County Public Health Department. The new numbers indicate another fluctuation. The number of active cases of the virus in Imperial County are now at 209, 40 less than what was reported Tuesday. The State COVID 19 Tier Metrics for Imperial County indicate new cases per day per 100,000 at 7.80, with a positivity rate of 8.7%. Deaths attributed to the virus in Imperial County are now at 975, up from the 972 previously reported.
