Brawley Police relooking for a suspect who tried to shoot two people.

The incident occurred at about 3:45 p.m. on Monday, March 6, 2023 in the South alley of the 100 block of Main Street. According to the targets of the shooter, a young, thin Hispanic male was walking across their property and they confronted the man. A verbal altercation ensued and then the suspect pulled out a pistol and shot at them. One victim suffered a minor injury from one of the bullets. The shooter then fled on foot. 

Brawley Police believe the suspect s between his late teens to early 20's. He was last seen wearing a tan sweatshirt and dark colored shorts. Investigators are reviewing available surveillance video and working to identify the shooter.
