(International Women's Day)...It is not until March 8.

The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Brawley has come up with a new way to celebrate. They call it WOW Women of Wonder. They are currently accepting nominations for the various categories. Awards will be presented to the Woman Of Wonder in Philanthropy, Woman Owned Business of the year, Influential Woman Of Wonder, Woman of Wonder in Agriculture, emerging star, and the big one, Woman Of the Year. The deadline to submit nominations is February 13 at 3 pm. On March 8th the First Annual WOW Women of Wonder celebration will be held at the Casa Blanca Venue on East Highway 80 in Holtville. There wil be an awards ceremony, Gala Dinner and Guest speaker, The event will runb from 6 to 10 pm. Contact the Chamber for Ticket information.
