A tall truck had problems with a low bridge. Wednesday afternoon at about 4:50 p.m. a truck and trailer on the eastbound Interstate 8 connector at southbound State Route 111 lost the top part of the trailer when it was too tall to pass under the bridge. Traffic was tied up for a brief time as the roadway was cleared of debris and the big rig could be safely moved. A second oversized load that was following the first truck was able to stop and avoid the same fate. There were no injuries.
