(It is going to be a busy afternoon at IVC).....Two events are scheduled Wednesday afternoon at IVC.

At 1:00 pm it will be the Nursing Building Ribbon Cutting. There will be live demonstration during the event. At 5:00 pm will be the ribbon cutting for a special exhibit. It is called La Conquista del Agua y del Imaginario: Photographs of the Construction of Local Canals from the 19th Century The reception is at 7:00 pm at the Juanita Salazar Lowe Art Gallery. There will be light refreshments and piano music by Dr. Hope Davis. The exhibit was put together with the assistance of the Mexican Consulate, the University of Baja California and the Baja California State galleries. They worked with Imperial Valley College staff. Admission is free.
