(Vehicle Goes over a cliff).....It was reported at just after 3 Monday morning.
The California Highway Patrol received a call of a vehicle traveling East on Interstate 8, crashing down an embankment just east of Meyers Creek. It took the CHP to locate the vehicle. They found it 25-30 feet down the embankment. It had landed on its roof. It was determined the vehicle had been driven by a female, but she could not be found in the area. Eastbound traffic on the Interstate was disrupted for a while as the vehicle was retrieved. The roadway was cleared at around 8:40 in the morning. At last report, they were still looking for the driver of the vehicle.
