A Brawley man is in jail after being arrested for a stabbing

in Brawley last week. According to Brawley Police Commander Jonathan Blackstone, 38-year-old Cory Odom of Brawley, was arrested after investigators linked him to an incident last week where a man was found in the 900 block of Main Street suffering from multiple stab wounds. Odom was interviewed by Brawley Police investigators on Wednesday and confessed to the assault. He is currently being held on $1 million bail at Imperial County Jail after being charged with Attempted Murder and Intimidation of a Witness. The victim is said to be in stable condition and is expected to recover.
