The remnants of Hurricane Kay continue to linger over the Imperial Valley.
The storm dumped between and 4 inches of rain in a 12 hour period Friday leaving streets and roads flooded, scattered power outages and a slew of accidents. The National Weather Service says scattered showers and possibly thunderstorms are possible through Monday but most weather activity is moving into Arizona. A push of westerly winds and dry air will prevail until at least next weekend. Temperatures will be slightly below normal the next several days with highs in the mid- to upper 90's. Overnight lows will drop to the low to mid-70's. West or southwest winds will range from 5 to 10 mph.
