(The first Dove Season begins early Thursday morning)... Hunters can shoot doves from sunrise to sunset through September 15.

The second Dove Season begins November 12 and runs through December 26th. Hunters will be in pursuit of white winged and mourning dove. Participants must carry their hunting license with them. Hunting on private land requires landowner permission. It is illegal to shoot within 150 yards of an occupied dwelling and it is illegal to shoot across a public roadway. The daily bag limit is 15 birds, up to 10 of which may be white winged dove. Weather is expected to be dry and hoit. Hunters are advised to stay hydrated and try not to over-exert yourselves.
